Salt 0.9.8 has arrived

I just pushed Salt 0.9.8! This is one of the biggest releases we have done, with massive community additions and a swath of exciting new features. Check out the release announcement in the Salt documentation:

As usual Salt is available on pypi and github:
The tarball has grown a great deal in this release, but don’t worry, that’s not bloat, this release includes the documentation and test suite in the tarball!
Enjoy the new Salt!

Turns out there’s something strange happening in Git between versions 1.7.1 and 1.7.5.4

    scyther:salt-github (develop) blast_hardcheese$ git log –pretty=oneline v0.9.7..v0.9.8 | wc -l
    819

    scyther:salt-github (develop) blast_hardcheese$ git diff v0.9.7..v0.9.8 –stat | tail -n1
    241 files changed, 22366 insertions(+), 6898 deletions(-)
